About me
Hey. I've been a professional designer for about 10 years and a human being for way more. I live in Los Angeles with my partner and two wiener dogs named Babka and Blintz. I'm a New Yorker by birth and bagels, but have also lived in Japan, Australia, Denmark and Scranton, Pennsylvania.
I've been working at Google for about three years, and am currently focused on bringing Shopping experiences to YouTube. In past lives, I worked at some startups (Paperless Post, The Black Tux) and digital agencies (Tigerspike, freelance).
I've hired and managed teams, designed solutions for complex financial and pharmaceutical firms, launched new products at a startup, and now lead design on a complex consumer product that reaches billions of people and generates billions of dollars.
My mission
I've worked in many contexts, but my goal has remained the same: to find the humanity in our digital worlds. For me, that means starting with an environment that encourages:

- Honest and transparent goals
- Play and fun
These attributes can help a workplace feel more enjoyable and understandable. If I can feel these at my work place, I feel empowered to bring that same sense of joy and clarity into my work output as well.
In short, my mission is to find, or bring, meaningful collaboration into the workplace in order to create clear and fun digital experiences.
